Research Centre Activities
The Institute has a Research Centre headed by a full time Professor.The Research Center involves itself with organisation and conduct of Seminars, Conferences, Publications of Institute, News letters and the Institute’s Journals.
M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management started research activities right from its inception giving high priority in the curriculum in the form of projects which was made mandatory for students(SIP and Empirical Projects).Full fledge research cell was started and headed by Dr. Naganna, former Professor of IIM, Bangalore. The Institutes basic objective is categorically mentioned in its name, as Post Graduate Center for Management Studies & Research and it is functioning towards achieving the objectives of providing professional management and quality service in order to carry out research activities by students and faculty, provide resources for high quality research, strengthen systematic management of data processing.
‘M.S.Ramaiah Management Review’ is a bi-annual research journal in the management discipline. It brings out research based articles on general management contributed by academicians and practicing professionals. The journal is monitored by a full time Head of Research assisted by an Editorial Committee and Editorial Advisory Committee.

‘Sankalpa’ is a newsletter being published quarterly covering the events, programmes and activities that take place in and around MSRIM. It is guided and monitored by a Faculty Editor assisted by a Students’ Editorial Committee.
