About the Faculty

Prof. Sachin Mohan has completed his MSc. In Business Development & Innovation from University of Ulster-Northern Ireland. He is also a qualified CMA, holds PMP and ARM designations in project management and Risk Management respectively. His core area of expertise is corporate strategy & risk.

Prof. Sachin Mohan has 15 years of industry experience and has he worked with several reputed firms like, BOC Gas Ireland, Eaton technologies, Bekaert Industries, Aon etc in the area of corporate strategy and risk management. His core strength includes Strategic Finance, Risk management, and Project management. Within domain of strategic finance he has led several corporate projects on Financial feasibility analysis, Financial planning for new product development, Cost and pricing strategy, Cost modelling & Corporate strategy. In risk management domain he has core strength in technical knowledge of risk financing, retrospective rating plans, insurance and re-insurance, captives, alternative risk transfer techniques, CAT Bonds, financial analysis of Insurers / reinsurers, & risk modelling. He has led the team to create risk model for one of the Fortune 250 companies. He has done several enterprise wide risk analysis for fortune 500 companies during his corporate stint.   

Prof. Sachin has gained global experience in corporate strategy and risk domain while working with big corporates and has travelled extensively to countries like Belgium, USA, China, Spain, Ireland, France, and Slovakia for several projects on corporate strategy and growth.

Prof. Sachin Mohan is focused on risk management and financial side of risk management. His area of research is Risk Management, Risk Transfer, Cyber Risk, and CAT Bonds & risk related securities.
