About the Faculty

Dr. Sanjythi V.K. has completed her Ph.D. in Economics, focusing on the interventionist policies of the government in agriculture and their impact on the farmers’ revenue, from the Department of Economics and Cooperation, Manasa Gangothri, University of Mysore, Mysuru. Her areas of research interest includes Agriculture Economics, Welfare economics, Distribution of income & wealth and social/ economic justice.

 She has completed her MBA in HR & Systems and M.A. in Economics. She has cleared KSET and NET in economics and has over 15 years of teaching, industry and research experience. She has presented and published research papers in various National and International conferences and journals respectively.

She is a passionate film maker. She has received ‘Best Film Maker – Karnataka State Award for the best short fiction film – for her film ‘Anala’ and also four International awards/ recognition for the same. She has made few remarkable documentaries as well.
